Dive in to the refreshing water of Berry Springs Nature Park after a long day exploring the natural wildlife habitats in the area. Depending on the time of your visit, you will be able to wade in the shady pools along Berry Creek with steps providing access straight into the water. Visitors must take note that swimming may be prohibited during the wet season for your safety.

If you’re lucky enough to dive in to the water, be sure to take your goggles for a clear view of the range of marine life that call these pools home. The area provides a scenic walking track through two of the Top End’s Natural wildlife habitats. Beginning in the picnic area visitors can follow that loop around the area for great bird watching opportunities. Various forest species can also be found along the creek line and on the walking track.

Pack a picnic and set yourself up under one of the Berry Springs Nature Park’s shaded picnic areas. The park also houses an interpretive display briefly detailing the history of the area with historical references, photographs and wildlife information. If you’re visiting Darwin, make your way to Berry Springs Nature Park for the day to enjoy the beautiful scenery, refreshing pools and rich history.
