Great little zoo with some local birds, animals and history. The Kiwi feeding show and conservation show are fun. Kids love them. It is also a nice and easy walk, even elderlies can handle. The ticket is not cheap, but that will help to maintain the zoo and research.
We got to see the kiwis

We got to see the kiwis, which were the key factor for coming here but the rest of the park was underwhelming. Service was not great - was handed a map and audio device and sent off, the feeder was late for kiwi feeding and exit door out of the park was locked.

The show was a great experience

The show was a great experience. Would have been nice to have a greater snack/lunch choice but the scones were delicious. An overall good experience we enjoyed learning about the kiwi bird, just a little steep in some areas for the stroller. Souvenirs available were plenty.
